In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Aug. 8 against Edward Eugene Goff of Jefferson on a charge of harassment- third degree. Goff was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. Court costs were $134.50.
In an unrelated case against Goff he pleaded guilty to a charge public intoxication- first offense, amended from a charge of public intoxication- second offense initiated in district court in June. Goff was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $100.
A judgment was entered Aug. 9 against Jamie Lynette Glass of Rippey on a charge of assault- simple, amended from a district court charge of domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness. Glass was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. She must also pay $480.18 restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees and $300 court costs.
Joshua Harold Gingery of Churdan was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge after he pleaded guilty to a charge of assault- simple, amended from domestic abuse assault- first offense. He must also pay $300 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $126 court costs.
Steven Logan Dzuris of Jefferson was placed on informal probation for one year after he pleaded guilty to a charge of public intoxication- first offense, amended from a charge in district court of public intoxication- second offense. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense. Dzuris was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. He must also pay $350 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Aug. 17 as follows: Savannah Danielle Baugh of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Dray Rivera of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia.
